Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary We are looking for experienced Pharmacy Technician, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and medication safety. In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing medication inventory, and providing exceptional patient service. Responsibilities Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Assist with medication intake, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring proper medication labeling and storage. Manage inventory levels by ordering, stocking, and organizing medications in compliance with safety standards. Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, clarifying medication instructions. Skills Proven pharmacy technician experience with a focus on LTC (Long-Term Care) pharmacy. Experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care and communication. Ability to accurately interpret prescriptions and communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding medication management.
