- $22 an hour 1 day ago Benefits 401(k) Qualifications Insurance verification Customer service Pharmacy Technician License Attention to detail Pharmacy software Full Job Description Provision Pharmacy is a community, long-term care, family owned closed-door pharmacy in the San Diego area looking for a reliable and detail-oriented part-time pharmacy technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Process and verify prescription orders and insurance claims
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and place supply orders as needed
- Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized in compliance with regulations
Requirements:
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license (or eligibility to obtain one within 90 days of hire date)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred but not required
- DigitalRx experience is a plus
