Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A healthcare facility in San Francisco is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their team on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work full-time hours with a variety of shift options, providing flexibility and a dynamic work environment. Candidates with some prior exposure to IV preparations are preferred, and training support is available for those eager to expand their skills.

Shift options starting at 6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, or 3:00 PM 8.5-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
Key Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently Support IV medication preparation with supervision and proper training Maintain inventory and proper storage of pharmaceutical supplies Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the pharmacy Communicate effectively with healthcare staff to coordinate medication orders Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably with some exposure to IV medication preparation Ability to work reliably within assigned shifts and follow protocols closely Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Willingness to learn and adapt within a fast-paced healthcare setting This role represents a valuable opportunity to contribute to patient care in a major healthcare facility while honing pharmacy technician skills, including IV preparation.
