Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Travel This role offers a unique opportunity to work as a Pharmacy Technician in a leading 300-bed children's hospital in Northern California. The position supports the inpatient pharmacy team in delivering exceptional care to pediatric patients, utilizing EPIC software within a highly respected health system. This travel assignment provides exposure to a challenging and rewarding environment focused on pediatric inpatient care.
Responsibilities include:
Accurately preparing and dispensing medications for inpatient pediatric patients Assisting pharmacists in medication management and inventory control Utilizing EPIC software for prescription processing and documentation Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective medication use Adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and compliance standards
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Pharmacy Technician certification Previous experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy settings preferred Familiarity with EPIC software strongly desired Strong work ethic and reliability akin to PGYI standards Ability to work variable days and afternoon shifts (8-hour shifts)
