Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract An immediate opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support a 100-bed hospital in Truckee, CA. This 13-week contract role offers a full-time schedule with day shifts, providing a balanced workweek and professional growth in a hospital environment.

Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts per week Day shift hours

Key Responsibilities:

Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding to support patient care needs Restock Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADCs) throughout the facility Manage incoming calls to the pharmacy, assisting with various requests Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and dispensing

Desired Qualifications:

Current California Pharmacy Technician license Previous hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in a similar-sized facility Proficiency with sterile and non-sterile compounding techniques Experience working with IV preparations is highly preferred Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems This role is ideal for a skilled Pharmacy Technician ready to contribute to an active hospital pharmacy team while further developing their hospital and IV compounding expertise.
