Pharmacy Technician Astrix Technology Group - 3.4 Torrance, CA Job Details Contract $25.00 - $28.50 an hour 23 hours ago Qualifications IV compounding Sterile medication handling Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a fast-paced healthcare team. This role is responsible for the preparation, packaging, and sterile compounding of intravenous and injectable medications, including chemotherapy and other hazardous drugs, while maintaining compliance with USP and USP standards.

Pay:
$25.00 - $28.50 per hour
Type:
3 month Contract (with possible extension)
Responsibilities:
Prepare and compound sterile IV medications and injectable therapies Fill prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist Mix pharmaceutical preparations and label medications accurately Assist with the packaging and dispensing of medications Receive, inspect, and store incoming pharmaceutical supplies Follow all safety protocols and institutional guidelines for handling hazardous medications
Qualifications:
3-5 years of Pharmacy Technician experience Sterile compounding experience required Knowledge of USP and USP guidelines preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Hospital or specialty pharmacy experience is a plus This job description highlights the primary responsibilities of the role but is not intended to include every duty.
