Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Direct Hire An established and growing home infusion and compounding pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with expertise in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy settings. This direct hire position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where strong communication skills and technical proficiency are essential.
Location:
Whittier, CA Schedule & Hours:
Monday to Friday starting at 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, or 10:00 AM (flexible start times required) Rotating weekends Coverage between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM, 7 days a week
Key Responsibilities:
Perform precise compounding tasks following established protocols using a proprietary workflow system Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure clarity on medication regimens Support patient-centered services in a home infusion setting or compounding pharmacy environment Maintain compliance with state and national regulations related to pharmacy operations
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid California Pharmacy Technician license required Experience in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy settings is mandatory; inpatient-only candidates will not be considered National Certification (CPhT) highly preferred Strong communication skills to engage professionally with patients and providers Ability to work a flexible schedule including rotating weekends This role provides a rewarding opportunity to apply specialized skills in compounding and patient communication within a supportive and growing pharmacy team.
