In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications. Duties Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Manage medication inventory, including receiving, stocking, and verifying supplies to ensure availability and proper storage Assist with medication intake and patient medication reconciliation processes to ensure correct administration Provide excellent patient service by answering medication-related questions. Maintain detailed records of medication dispensing, inventory logs, and compliance documentation according to regulatory standards. Follow all safety procedures related to aseptic technique, infection control, and medication handling to uphold the highest standards of patient care Qualifications Pharmacy technician experience preferred with a focus on retail pharmacy. Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and aseptic technique preferred. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work efficiently. Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients while demonstrating professionalism and compassion. Bilingual preferred Arabic or Russian.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
