Essential Responsibilities As a Pharmacy Technician, your typical day may include: Assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications Accurately counting, measuring, labeling, and packaging medications Processing prescription orders and maintaining patient records Communicating with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies Troubleshooting insurance claim issues and prior authorization requirements Answering incoming phone calls and assisting with patient inquiries Ordering, receiving, stocking, and maintaining pharmacy inventory Assisting with medication deliveries and shipment preparation as needed Supporting medication synchronization and adherence programs Maintaining pharmacy cleanliness, organization, and regulatory compliance Following all state and federal pharmacy regulations Contributing to a positive, patient-centered pharmacy culture Qualifications Current Colorado Pharmacy Technician registration (or ability to obtain) National certification (CPhT) preferred but not required Previous pharmacy experience preferred Strong computer and data entry skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Our Mission At Valley Pharmacy, we are more than a place to fill prescriptions. $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
