Colorado Springs, CO 80909 Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our long term care closed door pharmacy team in Colorado Springs, CO. This position operates in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and teamwork are essential to ensure timely and efficient processing of pharmacy orders. Key Responsibilities Accurately enter medication orders for long term care facilities into the pharmacy system. Communicate effectively with nurses and healthcare staff at long term care facilities via phone to clarify and confirm orders. Work collaboratively with pharmacy team members to maintain smooth workflow and meet deadlines. Maintain focus and attention to detail while sitting for extended periods of time. Adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Skills Previous experience as a pharmacy technician. Strong order entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail. Knowledge of brand vs generic drugs and drug classes. Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone, to interact with nursing staff. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively. Comfortable with sitting for long periods while maintaining concentration. Work Environment This role is based in a closed door pharmacy serving long term care facilities. The environment is fast-paced and requires strong teamwork and communication skills to ensure the highest level of service and accuracy. 8 Hour rotating shifts. ```
