Pharmacy Technician Location:
Colorado Springs, CO 80909 We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our closed door long term care pharmacy team in Colorado Springs, CO. This is a fast-paced environment where teamwork and accuracy are essential to providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently for long term care facilities. Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure all medications are stored according to regulatory standards. Process prescription orders and verify patient information with attention to detail. Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff to meet daily operational goals in a fast-paced setting. Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to medication dispensing and inventory. Communicate effectively with team members to support a smooth workflow and resolve any issues promptly.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with pharmacists and other staff members. Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
