Alpine Pharmacy is seeking a full-time pharmacy technician. The pharmacy technician position at Alpine Pharmacy is responsible for providing support to the pharmacist in the preparation dispensing, and distribution of medications to patients in a variety of long-term care settings. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications according to physician orders
• Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
• Phone interactions with caregivers, family members, and medical providers
• Process insurance claims
• Onsite pharmacy consulting services
• Vaccination administration (training provided upon willingness to administer)
• Computer software proficiency for prescription processing and cycle fills (QS1 PrimeCare and Synmed XF)

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Pharmacy Technician Certification
• 1+ years' experience in a pharmacy setting (Long Term Care / Retail Experience)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure

Compensation:

21.00

• 27.

00$/hour. Overtime and holiday.
