As a Pharmacy Technician at Reliant Compounded Solutions, you'll be an essential part of our mission to provide high-quality compounded medications to our valued patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing compounds in accordance with USP standards, ensuring accuracy and precision. Efficiently pulling, putting away, and organizing manufactured medications and chemicals. Counting, pouring, mixing, weighing, and affixing labels with meticulous attention to detail. Understanding sterile and non-sterile compounding procedures, following USP guidelines. Maintaining various logs, such as freezer, balance calibrations, sterile hood, humidity, filter, environmental monitoring, and temperature logs. Computer processing, including adding patients, doctors, and drugs to our system. Filling prescriptions and processing orders, providing exceptional customer service. Answering phone calls and addressing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborating with doctors' offices to request refills and clarify patient/Rx information. Taking phone-in prescriptions from doctors' offices under the delegation of our pharmacists. Communicating with insurance companies when necessary. Checking in Rx orders, ensuring accuracy and resolving any issues like shortages, errors, or out-of-stocks. Maintaining inventory control by regularly checking shelves, straightening, and monitoring for out-of-stock or expired items. Filing and completing daily information on filled prescriptions.
