Job Description

The Pharmacy Technician assists the Pharmacist in the provision of a safe and effective medication use system by performing the following duties:
Pyxis Management:
refilling, inventory management and auditing
Medication Compounding:
Hazardous, Non-Sterile and Sterile compounding Packaging medications: Tablet and oral syringe unit dose packaging,
Job Requirements:
  • Hospital Pharmacy Technician experience required
  • Current State of Connecticut Pharmacy Technician or Intern Registration required
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • Hazardous and/or IV compounding experience preferred
WORK SCHEDULE
Per Diem position: Minimum one shift per month; one holiday per year; one weekend shift per quarter. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V
