Shift 1/8:00:00 AM to 8:15:00 PM
  • Must be able to work various shifts between the hours of 8:00 AM
  • 8:15 PM.
Will be required to work every other weekend and holidays. Minimum to
Midpoint Pay Rate:
$20.00
  • $23.50 / hour
  • Sign on bonus for eligible candidates
  • Summary Assists the Pharmacist in the preparation, dispensing, distribution, and control of medications throughout the facility.
All job duties shall be performed in accordance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulatory agency standards, professional practice standards, and policies and procedures of the health system/pharmacy department.
Requirements Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
One year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred. One year of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
Certification:
CPht (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification with the PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) required (must be obtained within first 180 days of hire). ExCPT certification may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
License:
Registered Pharmacy Technician with Florida Department of Health required.
Other:
Data entry and knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology. Ability to cope with confrontation.
