Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician If you've ever wanted to break into clinical pharmacy — this is your chance. About the Role We are seeking a Florida-licensed Pharmacy Technician with sterile compounding experience to join our specialty infusion pharmacy team. This position has a primary focus on sterile and non-sterile compounding in a clean, organized, and highly clinical environment supporting patients receiving infusion therapies at home and in our infusion suite. Candidates must have working knowledge of USP <797> standards. Experience is required; however, we are willing to further train the right candidate who demonstrates strong attention to detail, compliance mindset, and eagerness to grow in clinical compounding. After-Hours rotation required for patient care support. Primary Responsibilities - Sterile & Non-Sterile Compounding Prepare sterile compounded medications in compliance with USP <797> Perform non-sterile compounding as needed Maintain aseptic technique and proper cleanroom behavior Proper garbing, cleaning, and environmental monitoring procedures Accurate medication calculations, measurements, and labeling Maintain compounding logs and required documentation Ensure sterility, accuracy, and safety of all compounded medications Manage compounding inventory and supplies Assist pharmacist with final preparation checks Participate in quality assurance and compliance activities Additional Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities Assist pharmacists with prescription processing and refill coordination Maintain medication and supply inventory Verify patient and medication information for accuracy Support documentation and pharmacy workflow Assist with patient communication and coordination when needed Data entry into pharmacy software systems General support of pharmacy operations and team workflow What We're Looking For Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License (required) Sterile compounding experience (required) Working knowledge of USP <797> standards (required) Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly organized clinical setting Strong math skills and accuracy in measurements/calculations Willingness to learn, grow, and be part of a clinical team Excellent communication and teamwork skills Why Work at Vital Care of Gainesville?
