Specialty Pharmacy Technician

Specialty Pharmacy Technician Provide hands-on support to patients and pharmacists to ensure high-quality care and medication adherence. Ideal candidate is self-motivated and interested in growing within a fast-paced specialty pharmacy environment. Onsite in the pharmacy, Monday - Friday, 9:00AM - 5:00PM.

paid holidays Paid parental leave , short-term disability , and professional development Access to employee resource groups and wellness programs Key Responsibilities Interpret, enter, and prepare prescriptions for pharmacist review Clarify orders with pharmacists and clinicians as needed Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations and ensure proper medication handling (e.g., refrigerated or hazardous drugs) Prepare medications and supplies for patient delivery Manage inbound inquiries and conduct outbound adherence follow-ups Secure refills and resolve insurance or financial assistance issues Maintain inventory, including ordering and receiving medications Communicate with patients to support medication understanding and adherence Input and manage data, adjudicate claims, and track follow-ups Identify trends, resolve issues, and support process improvements Maintain confidentiality and stay current with industry knowledge Perform other duties as assigned

What You Need:

1+ years of pharmacy technician experience required, 2+ years preferred Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License Required, CPhT preferred. Applicant will commit to obtaining the required certification within a mutually agreed upon timeframe. Continued employment is contingent upon meeting these requirements.
