The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be bilingual in Spanish, and possess a strong attention to detail. This position is critical in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service :

Provide exceptional customer service to all pharmacy customers, both in-person and over the phone. Address customer inquiries, assist with prescription refills, and ensure a positive customer experience.

Prescription Processing :

Accurately and efficiently process prescription orders. Verify prescription information and dosage, and enter patient and prescription data into the pharmacy management system.

Bilingual Communication :

Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking customers to assist with their pharmacy needs, provide medication information, and answer any questions they may have.

Medication Dispensing :

Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications, preparing labels, and packaging prescriptions for distribution.

Inventory Management :

Maintain and manage inventory levels. Receive and unpack pharmaceutical supplies, stock shelves, and monitor expiration dates.

Compliance and Safety :

Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards, including HIPAA and OSHA. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Team Collaboration :

Work collaboratively with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other staff members to ensure smooth pharmacy operations and high-quality customer care.

Education and Training :

Stay current with continuing education requirements and participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills. Qualifications Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) : Must be certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or equivalent. Bilingual in

Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking customers.

Customer Service Experience :

Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
