Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and compound medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring proper dosing, authorization, and insurance approval in compliance with OSHA and internal protocols. Verify orders, patient details, drug integrity, and maintain accurate logs, temperature controls, lot tracking, and controlled substance records. Maintain clean, compliant work areas by performing hood cleaning, properly disposing of materials, and updating drug information and MSDS sheets. Manage pharmacy inventory including receiving, shelving, labeling, billing, and accurate data entry to ensure medication availability and efficient operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required. 3 to 5 years of pharmacy experience with demonstrated IV compounding skills. IV Certification is highly preferred. Florida Certified Pharmacy Technician license required. National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred. Prior chemo compounding experience advantageous.
