Lead IV Room Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:

Prepare and verify sterile intravenous medications following established protocols. Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and safety standards in the IV room. Lead IV Room Technician role includes coordinating workflow, training team members, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Manage inventory and assist with documentation related to IV preparations. Collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare staff to support patient care needs.

Desired Experience:

Proven experience as an IV Pharmacy Technician within a hospital or high-volume pharmacy setting. Strong knowledge of sterile compounding procedures and USP standards. Leadership skills for the Lead IV Technician role, including team coordination and quality assurance. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills. Current Pharmacy Technician certification and licensure compliant with state regulations.
