Pharmacy Technician Location:
Federal Correctional Institution (FCI)
Tallahassee, FL Schedule:
Will normally work, Monday through Friday (except for Federal holidays), normally between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., with thirty (30) minutes unpaid lunch period, (if applicable). Visits will normally consist of eight (8) sessions. A session will equal one (1) hour.
Description of Services:
All duties will be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the field of Pharmacy. The contractor will adhere to all standards and regulations associated with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Healthcare Services and the American Correctional Association Standards/Core Standards for Adult Correctional Institutions, as well as Federal and State policies and regulations. The perspective contractor will assist the Pharmacist in filling and preparing prescription daily for the inmate population at the FCI/FDC Tallahassee, Florida.
Education and Experience:
The Pharmacy Technician contractor is required to have at a minimum two years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician, possess a Florida state certification as a Pharmacy Technician, and CPR certification. The contractor performing the services must provide verification of credentials and proof of insurance. The contractor's candidate must pass the security clearances listed in the Contract Security/Investigative requirements prior to performance of work. Documents supporting your qualifications must be submitted (resume, photocopies of certificates/license and CPR etc.) Compensation is competitive and will be discussed with qualified candidates during the recruitment process.
