Position- Pharmacy Technician Location- Tallahassee, FL Job Types:

In person Must have a FL Pharmacy Technician License Job description: We need a Pharmacy Technician for the Florida Department of Health Pharmacy Warehouse. We will pay you between $15-$18/hour based on your experience. We need you from Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm; you will have the weekends off to do what you want to do! One year experience as a Pharmacy Technician, specifically filling prescriptions. Florida Pharmacy Technician License and PTCB required. Assist all Pharmacists in the performance their responsibilities as specified in Chapter 465, Florida Statutes, as needed. Complete all work assignments and responsibilities as set by the Pharmacy Manager and as directed by the Department. Collect, review, and perform data entry of prescription orders for the CHDs and other health care entities, as needed. Collect, review, and perform data entry of clients' medications and medical profiles including allergy and drug interactions as directed by the Department. Enter client information and prescriber address and phone numbers into the Department's online pharmacy systems as directed by the Department. Label products and monitor product expiration dates and verify medication inserts as needed. Assist with client enrollment in specified programs for medications as directed by the Department. Perform daily computer backup of the Department's online pharmacy systems as directed by the Department etc. Perform services during normal work hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time, excluding state holidays, up to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Work before, during, or beyond normal work hours or days, as specified above, in the event of an emergency and as directed by the Department.
