Position Summary The Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician II independently performs sterile and hazardous drug batch compounding within a 503B outsourcing facility. This role executes complex aseptic operations, ensures batch documentation accuracy, and supports environmental monitoring and deviation investigations under the direction of the Compounding Pharmacist Key Responsibilities Independently compound sterile and hazardous drug batches per approved batch records Handle HD APIs and finished formulations in compliance with USP Verify materials, calculations, and batch setup prior to compounding Complete batch records with full GDP compliance and inspection readiness Participate in and support environmental monitoring, investigations, and corrective actions Identify and escalate deviations, EM excursions, or process risks Support onboarding and hands-on training of Technician I staff Maintain aseptic technique and compliance during FDA and internal audits Support equipment cleaning, sanitization, and room readiness Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Active Pharmacy Technician registration Minimum 2 - 4 years sterile compounding experience Demonstrated competency in cGMP, USP and requirements Media fill and fingertip qualification in current cycle Preferred Qualifications CSPT certification cGMP experience Experience in FDA-registered 503B operations Familiarity with batch manufacturing scale operationsSimilar jobs in Tamarac, FL
