Pharmacy Technician (Registered in Florida)

Position LoCicero Health has an opening for a full- or part-time Pharmacy Technician to join our multi-disciplinary team. This position is based in one of our South Tampa locations. This role involves assisting providers in the preparation and dispensing of medications while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in a healthcare or pharmacy setting. Key Responsibilities Assist providers in preparing and dispensing prescription medications in accordance with state and federal regulations Process prescription orders accurately and maintain proper documentation Operate medication dispensary systems and maintain accurate patient and medication records Regularly review and work medication adherence reports from third-parties to ensure high clinical quality performance targets are met and maintained Provide courteous and professional service to patients and providers Manage inventory, stock medications, and assist with ordering supplies Ensure compliance with medication dispensary policies, HIPAA compliance, and safety standards Collaborate courteously with providers and other staff to support patient care Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient medication dispensary Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Florida is required Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of clinical quality medication adherence measures is preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred Previous experience working with an electronic medical record and/or pharmacy management/benefit system is preferred About us LoCicero Health is a multi-specialty clinic, diagnostic center, infusion center, medication dispensary, and COLA-accredited laboratory with 6 locations across the Tampa Bay area.
