Job Description
Collect accurate patient information Preparing new prescription and refill requests for patients Receiving prescriptions and checking their validity Dispensing medication to patients per the prescription, or provider's orders Packing and labeling a prescribed medication Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions Processing insurance claims Resolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims) Tracking inventory Repackaging of bulk medications Deliver medication to resident facilities Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Comply with all security measures and quality standards Undertake administrative tasks (e.g.record-keeping) as assigned
