Certified Pharmacy Technician Coordinator

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician Coordinator to join our dynamic Pharmacy Benefits Management team. In this vital role, you will support the clinical team in managing prior authorization (PA) requests for prescription medication. The role focuses on the administrative processing , documentation and communication with providers, members and internal stakeholders, in compliance with PBM policies and regulatory requirements. Pharmacy Technician Coordinator Duties Assist with Prior Authorizations processes Support the implementation and ongoing administration of pharmacy benefit plans, ensuring accurate configuration and compliance with plan design. Coordinate cross-functionally with operations, clinical, and operation teams to facilitate efficient pharmacy benefit management processes. Monitor and resolve claim adjudication, billing, and payment discrepancies in a timely manner. Assist in developing and maintaining pharmacy benefit procedures, protocols, and operational documentation. Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements and healthcare policy changes impacting pharmacy benefits. Address and resolve member inquiries and complaints related to pharmacy benefits with a focus on service quality and compliance. Support analysis of pharmacy utilization, trends, and cost drivers to inform operational and clinical decision-making. Partner with PBM stakeholders to ensure accurate benefit setup, configuration, and system integrity. Review and validate pharmacy benefit designs to ensure alignment with client requirements and regulatory standards. Assist in maintaining formulary updates and pharmacy network changes to ensure accuracy and continuity of care. Pharmacy Technician Coordinator Skills Knowledge of Pharmacy Technician with PBM experience Experience in supporting speciality medications in a clinical review capacity. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
