Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician - IV Certified Job Type Contract To Hire An infusion center is seeking an experienced IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract to hire opportunity. This role requires working in a clean room environment, preparing sterile compounded medications with a focus on patient safety and regulatory compliance. Chemo compounding experience is highly preferred for this position.

7:30 AM - 5:00

PM Friday:

8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (1st Shift, Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and compound medications under pharmacist supervision, ensuring precise dosing and verifying authorizations and insurance approvals. Verify patient information, medication orders, and drug integrity to ensure safety and accuracy. Maintain detailed documentation including logs, temperature records, lot numbers, and controlled substance records. Uphold clean room standards by performing hood cleaning, properly disposing of materials, and maintaining comprehensive MSDS and drug information sheets. Manage pharmacy inventory activities such as receiving, labeling, shelving, billing, and data entry to support day-to-day operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of pharmacy experience with demonstrated IV compounding skills. IV certification preferred. Florida Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate required. National Pharmacy Technician License preferred. Experience working in infusion or chemo compounding environments is a strong advantage.
