We are currently seeking a Georgia state registered Pharmacy Technician to join our extraordinary team at an independent community pharmacy in Athens, Georgia. This position is responsible for assisting the pharmacist to prepare, dispense, and assist in inventory management and record keeping. Our team is committed to providing access and improving quality of care. We support people on their path to better health--from advising on prescriptions, helping manage chronic and specialty conditions, to delivering local medications directly to clients. Successful candidates must be available to work Monday-Friday from 9:00-5:00. This is a full time position.
DUTIES:
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service
  • Observes patient confidentiality
  • Demonstrates team concepts and willingness to help others
  • Fill prescription orders accurately and in accordance with policy and procedures
  • Assembles all components for final RPh check
  • Operates all equipment with skill & safety
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current Georgia Board of Pharmacy Technician's License (required by law), certification preferred
  • High School graduate
  • Experience in retail pharmacy
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and procedures preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
