Category Pharmacy•Pharmacy Technician•IV Certified Job Type All Job Types A retail pharmacy is seeking a skilled Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join their team at their Hiram, GA location. This opportunity is open for both full-time and part-time schedules, offering flexibility within operating hours.

Retail Pharmacy Schedule:
Full-time (30-40 hours) or part-time options available Monday•
Friday:
9 a.m.•7 p.m.
Saturday:
10 a.m.•2 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare customized medications such as creams, ointments, capsules, and suspensions under the supervision of a pharmacist. Follow USP guidelines to ensure non-sterile compounding accuracy and safety. Accurately weigh and measure ingredients, mix compounds, and package finished products. Label and document all compounded medications in master logs with meticulous attention to detail. Maintain and clean compounding equipment according to safety protocols. Adhere strictly to personal protective equipment (PPE) usage and cleaning procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Holds a valid Georgia Pharmacy Technician License. Minimum of 1 year experience in non-sterile compounding is required. Demonstrated knowledge of USP standards and pharmacy technician best practices. This position is ideal for candidates who have a passion for precision and maintaining the highest standards in medication preparation.
