Certified Pharmacy Technician PeachRx Pharmacy Macon, GA Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $14 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications Courier driving Pharmacy Technician License Driver's License Registered Pharmacy Technician Full Job Description Pharmacy Technician - Independent Community Pharmacy (Full‑Time/Part‑Time) About the Role We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our independent community pharmacy. The ideal candidate is patient‑focused, organized, and able to support both in‑pharmacy operations and local delivery services. This position works under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Key Responsibilities Prescription Data Entry — Accurately enter and update prescription information in the pharmacy system. Medication Preparation — Count, label, package, and prepare medications with a high level of accuracy. Customer Service — Assist patients in person and by phone with professionalism and confidentiality. Insurance Processing — Submit and troubleshoot insurance claims; communicate coverage issues to patients. Inventory Management — Stock, rotate, and monitor inventory; assist with ordering and receiving. Point‑of‑Sale Support — Process transactions accurately and follow cash‑handling procedures. Regulatory Compliance — Follow all state/federal laws, HIPAA requirements, and pharmacy policies. Delivery Services — Prepare medications for delivery, verify patient information, obtain signatures, and complete safe, timely local deliveries using a valid driver's license.
