Technician Job Summary:

Support daily pharmacy operations by picking, labeling, scanning, and preparing prescriptions for final pharmacist verification. Requires strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Fill daily medication orders under pharmacist supervision Process returned drugs and follow disposal procedures Prepack and label frequently used medications Pull/pick medications from shelves and storage areas Label blister cards and scan products for accuracy Report any scanning issues to the pharmacist Maintain organized workstation and restock supplies Follow HIPAA and safety guidelines Work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed Perform other duties as assigned Physical Demands Sit, stand, bend, and walk throughout the day (7-10 hours) Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally Must have close/color vision and ability to focus Ability to hear normal voice levels Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Ability to work at a consistent, moderate pace Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Active GA Pharmacy Technician License Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Macon, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
