Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician - IV Certified Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an experienced IV/Chemo Pharmacy Technician to support an outpatient oncology infusion center specializing in chemotherapy and hematology treatments. This 13-week contract position is based near Marietta, GA with a mandatory travel radius beyond 50 miles.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30
PM Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer chemotherapy and hematology treatments in an outpatient infusion setting Utilize IV start techniques and access implanted ports safely and effectively Comply with all regulatory standards and facility protocols for chemotherapy administration Collaborate closely with oncology healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care Maintain accurate documentation related to medication handling and administration
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years experience as a pharmacy technician in oncology or infusion pharmacy Certified in chemotherapy preparation and administration (Chemo Certification) Valid Georgia pharmacy technician license required Proven proficiency with IV starts and implanted port access Strong knowledge of outpatient oncology infusion center workflows and safety procedures This position is ideal for technicians who have solid oncology experience and are comfortable working in a specialized infusion environment. Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility location.
