Rotating Shift Description:
High school diploma required. National Pharmacy Technician Certification required within one year of employment. Must sit for first exam within first 6 months and receive certification status within 12 months. Must be registered with the State of Iowa Board of Pharmacy required within 30 days of hire. One to three years of previous pharmacy experience is desirable (or combination college and experience). Must be able to type accurately, have basic knowledge of medical terms and abbreviations. Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination are useful in preparing or assisting with preparation of orders. Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills in a Windows environment. Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
