SpecialtyRx is seeking a Travel Pharmacy Technician located in the surrounding areas of Cook County, Illinois .Responsibilities:
Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor. Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff. Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter). Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System), including quantity and expiration date. Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing. Replace potentially expiring inventory. Restock depleted inventory. Perform monthly audits (cycle counts). Provide reports for the facility. Complete any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.Qualifications:
Important:
Must be local to the Cook County, Illinois area. Licensed Illinois Pharmacy Technician. Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred). Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and data entry preferred. Ability to efficiently use various programs and applications and troubleshoot ADS issues. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic math and analytical skills. Ability to perform light physical lifting. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Willingness to travel within Cook County and surrounding areas in Illinois.Shift:
