Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Pay Range:
$20-22 per hour
Position Description :
This position supports the Medicare Part D Star Operations Group within a pharmacy call center environment. The Pharmacy Technician will perform telephonic outreach to members, providers, and pharmacies to improve medication adherence, identify barriers to care, and coordinate solutions with clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform outbound telephonic outreach to members, pharmacies, and providers Work in a high-volume call queue with monitored productivity and quality metrics Meet service level expectations including call quality and daily/weekly performance goals Assist members with obtaining prescribed medications and resolving adherence barriers Collaborate with clinical pharmacy teams, providers, and internal resources Handle member inquiries, complaints, and correspondence Research and resolve complex issues while documenting all activities Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and protect member confidentiality Deliver excellent customer service with a professional, member-focused approach
Required Qualifications:
Active Pharmacy Technician license (required) Minimum 1 year of experience in retail pharmacy, PBM, or health plan setting Strong customer service experience Ability to multitask across multiple systems (phone + computer applications) Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management Excellent communication and active listening skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Call center experience 2+ years of pharmacy experience (retail, PBM, or health plan) Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) - PTCB or NHA Experience with Medicare Part D or medication adherence programs
