  • Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A healthcare facility is seeking a Pharmacy Technician skilled in inpatient hospital operations and sterile compounding for a 13-week contract, with intent to hire.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic inpatient hospital environment, contributing to essential pharmacy operations and sterile preparation.
Location:
Evanston, IL Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Friday, rotating shifts:
  • 7:00 am
  • 3:30 pm
  • 9:00 am
  • 5:30 pm
  • 2:30 pm
  • 10:00 pm Rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inpatient pharmacy technician duties supporting hospital medication needs. Work in sterile compounding clean room environments to prepare batches in compliance with safety and quality standards. Prepare and restock crash carts efficiently. Operate Omnicell and auto cart fill systems to ensure timely medication delivery and inventory management.
Required Qualifications:
Current Illinois pharmacy technician license. PTCB certification. Proven experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy operations. Hands-on experience with sterile compounding protocols. This contract role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated pharmacy technician to engage in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment with potential for a permanent position upon successful completion.
