WE ARE HIRING - OVERNIGHT PHARMACY FULFILLMENT TECHNICIAN!

Job Title:
Pharmacy Technician - Fulfillment (Overnight) Job Description This role supports high-volume fulfillment by accurately processing prescription orders, operating automated machinery, and ensuring that patients receive their medications safely and on time. You will enter and maintain patient and prescription data, resolve insurance and data entry issues, and collaborate closely with pharmacists and other team members in an automated, technology-driven environment. Responsibilities Accurately enter patient demographics and prescription data into processing systems. Resolve claim rejects and address insurance billing issues efficiently. Escalate prescription-related queries to pharmacists for further interpretation. Manage inbound and outbound calls with patients and physicians professionally. Operate automated machinery to sort, count, label, pack, and ship prescriptions. Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with machine upkeep. Identify and communicate any issues to staff as necessary. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and quality control standards at all times. Essential Skills Pharmacy technician certification, preferred NOT required. Proven experience in customer service within pharmacy or healthcare settings. Strong communication skills for managing calls with patients and physicians. Basic computer proficiency, including internet navigation and typing at least 25 WPM. Open to candidates with 0-2 years of experience in pharmacy. Additional Skills/Qualifications Advanced typing skills of 35+ words per minute with strong formatting proficiency. Prior experience in a high-volume pharmacy, mail-order pharmacy, or similar healthcare fulfillment environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of prescription processing. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Comfort working with technology-driven workflows and automated systems. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify issues and escalate appropriately. Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving pharmacy fulfillment processes and systems.
Work Environment/Shift Specifics Shifts:
Overnight:
Mon-Wed, 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM (30 hours/week)
Part Time Setting :
Fully onsite, Located near the Naperville IL area
Training :
Monday start. Training will be 4:30p-12:30a M-Thursday this time for the first week. Pay $19/hr Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Naperville, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
