at Actalent in North Chicago, Illinois, United States Job Description We are hiring Pharmacy Technician!! Responsibilities + Assist the pharmacist with pharmacy practice in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as HIPAA guidelines and corporate policies. + Accurately interpret healthcare provider's prescription orders and enter them into the core pharmacy system. + Notify physicians of incomplete or incorrect prescription information and perform physician outreach when necessary. Essential Skills + Pharmacy Technician certification and license. + Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and professionalism. + Experience in a high-volume, call-center-style environment. + Minimum of 1-5 years' experience in Specialty Pharmacy, Retail/Mail Order Pharmacy, PBM , or healthcare provider setting.
