This is an Hourly position. Overview This pharmacy technician position will support pharmacy services at OSF MediPark Pharmacy
POSITION SUMMARY
The Retail Pharmacy Technician is responsible for performing general duties, including operating cash register, stocking supplies and merchandise, billing and filling prescriptions, and answering telephone calls. Work involves standing, lifting and walking continually while in the process of performing duties. QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
At least 16 years of age and is attending OR graduated from an accredited high school or comparable school or educational institution orGED Licenses/Certifications:
Licensed Pharmacy Technician in current state. Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) validated by PTCB or National Healthcareer Certification within 2 years of initial licensure or within 2 years of hire, if the original date of Illinois Pharmacy Technician license is prior to January 1, 2008 Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
