• Start ASAP A closed-door, long-term care facility is seeking a reliable IV Pharmacy Technician to join their evening shift team.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual skilled in sterile compounding with a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance in a high-volume environment.

Location:

Woodridge, IL Shift:

Monday

• Friday, 3:00 pm
• 11:30 pm with rotating weekends every other week

Facility Type:

Closed door, Long-Term Care (LTC)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare intravenous (IV) medications using aseptic techniques to maintain sterility and safety Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and compliance Manage inventory efficiently to support daily operations Adhere strictly to USP 797 standards and other regulatory requirements Utilize pharmacy software system (Frameworks), training provided if needed Handle a high volume of approximately 600 prescriptions per day with efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications & Experience Required:

Active and clear Illinois Pharmacy Technician license Demonstrated experience in sterile compounding and IV preparation Proven ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting Dependable with excellent attendance and reliability This direct hire position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and professional setting, enhancing your sterile compounding skills while maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical care.
