Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support hospital pharmacy operations with both day and night shift openings in the Richmond, Indiana area. Location:

Richmond, IN (with flexibility for candidates able to obtain an Indiana license)

Schedule:

Night Shift:

7 days on, 7 days off | 9:00 PM - 7:30

AM Day/Afternoon Shift:

8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding accurately and safely Restock automated dispensing machines (Pyxis) to ensure availability of medications Handle incoming pharmacy calls and communicate effectively with medical staff Deliver medications to patient care areas as needed Monitor medication inventory, including pulling and disposing of expired stock Qualifications /

Desired Experience:

Current Indiana Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility to obtain one (Indiana licensing process is straightforward for non-IN licensed techs) Minimum of 2 years recent hospital pharmacy technician experience Strong knowledge of sterile compounding and pharmacy operations in a hospital setting Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team with attention to detail This contract position offers a unique chance for pharmacy technicians who thrive in a clinical environment and want to leverage their hospital experience.
