Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract This opportunity offers a position for two licensed and PTCB-certified Pharmacy Technicians to support a retail pharmacy environment in Francesville, IN. The pharmacy processes approximately 30 prescriptions daily and operates Monday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm. The role is ideal for candidates with prior retail pharmacy experience who are prepared to work approximately 24-30 hours per week, primarily Wednesday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter prescription orders into the system. Fill and label prescriptions following pharmacy protocols. Assist customers at the register with professionalism and care. Complete a three-day training and orientation prior to starting. Potentially provide coverage at a sister facility upon training and as needed.
Preferred Experience:
Licensed Indiana Pharmacy Technician with current certification. Previous retail pharmacy technician experience. Familiarity with PioneerRx order entry system. Experience using Eyecon Medication Counting Device or similar automation technology.
Additional Information:
Support is provided by pharmacists remote-verifying orders from a nearby hospital. Small team environment consisting of two technicians. Local candidates preferred due to the nature of the position. No weekend coverage required. This contract role will begin June 29th and will continue while the facility recruits permanent staff.
