Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a licensed, experienced Pharmacy Technician for a Full time position at a behavioral health facility located in Greenwood, IN. This is a full time role, ideal for a technician with hospital training who is flexible and reliable.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 8am-2:30pm
Key Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:
Prepare and unit dose oral medications Place medication orders with vendors and verify receipt Remove outdated medications and maintain inventory accuracy Support automated dispensing systems (experience preferred) Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and medical staff
Pharmacy Technician Qualifications:
Active registration with the Indiana Board of Pharmacy is required (please include registration number on resume) National pharmacy technician certification preferred Proven experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a hospital or behavioral health setting Completion of a pharmacy technician program preferred
Pharmacy Technician Skills:
Knowledge of medications, dosages, and medical terminology Familiarity with pharmacy law and regulatory standards Experience with automated dispensing machines is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Detail-oriented with solid organizational habits
Job Type:
