We are looking for a Pharmacy Technicians Trainee

Please apply with an updated resume today and a recruiter will reach out to you! Job Responsibilities We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician in Training to join our team! As a Pharmacy Technician trainee in Training, you will play a crucial role in assisting our licensed pharmacists in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. You will work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while adhering to all relevant laws and regulations. 1.
Medication Dispensing:
  • Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing.
  • Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders.
  • Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity; opening large quantities of bottles and cases of product.
  • Ensure the proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers.
  • Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area.

Inventory Management:
  • Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications.

Compliance and Regulations:
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
  • Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information.
Minimum Qualifications Willing to meet the requirements to successfully obtain a Indiana pharmacy tech in training license High School Diploma or equivalent Previous pharmacy experience or picking experience Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line. Able to consistently carry 20
  • 30 lbs.
of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor. Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift. Basic math, reading and writing skills required.

Full-time, Contract Schedule:
Monday 1pm-11:30pm Tuesday
  • Friday 2pm-11pm Saturday 12pm-8:30pm
Pay:
$18.05 Plus Shift differential for 2nd shift.
