Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract Indiana Licensed Pharmacy Technicians are needed to support retail operations at a community hospital pharmacy located in Indiana. This contract position offers a consistent schedule with some weekend coverage and an opportunity to work in a collaborative pharmacy environment.
Responsibilities:
Accurately perform order entry using the PioneerRx system (experience preferred) Ring up customers in a retail pharmacy setting Support pharmacy operations including inventory management and customer service Provide coverage at the sister franchise location once trained, if needed (additional certification may be required) Participate in a 3-day training and orientation prior to starting work
Qualifications:
Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license Prior retail pharmacy technician experience is required Familiarity with the PioneerRx order entry system is preferred Ability to work in a professional, business casual environment Local candidates only due to training and coverage needs
Schedule:
40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Every other Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm
Work Environment:
The facility includes a Pharmacy Manager, one full-time Pharmacist, and two full-time Technicians Business casual dress code to maintain a professional atmosphere This role will support ongoing pharmacy operations starting June 29th and continuing until a permanent hire is placed.
