Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A pharmacy technician role is available to support retail operations in a community pharmacy setting located in Monticello, IN. This contract position requires a confident individual with strong retail pharmacy experience and an Indiana Pharmacy Technician license. The assignment starts June 29th and will continue until a permanent technician is hired.
Responsibilities include:
Entering prescription orders accurately using the PioneerRx system (experience preferred) Assisting customers with transactions and ringing up sales Providing support across sister facilities after completing training as needed
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license required Previous retail pharmacy technician experience required Familiarity with PioneerRx software preferred but not mandatory PTCB certification needed to provide coverage at the Francesville location
Schedule:
40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Coverage every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Prior to starting, candidates must complete a 3-day training and orientation program to ensure a smooth transition. The work environment involves a team comprising a Pharmacy Manager, one full-time Pharmacist, and two full-time Technicians. Business casual dress code is observed.
