Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract Indiana Licensed Pharmacy Technicians are sought for a retail pharmacy position supporting a community hospital setting in North Judson, IN. This contract role involves order entry and customer service within a busy retail environment. Candidates with a solid background in retail pharmacy operations and proficiency with PioneerRx order entry are preferred.
Responsibilities include:
Accurately entering prescription orders and processing transactions at the point of sale Providing excellent customer service and assisting patients with inquiries Supporting pharmacy operations Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, plus every other Saturday on a similar schedule Potentially covering shifts at the sister facility in Francesville once fully trained Participating in a mandatory 3-day orientation and training period before starting
Qualifications:
Current Indiana Pharmacy Technician license required Proven experience in retail pharmacy settings Familiarity with PioneerRx order entry software preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Must be available for the specified hours and weekend rotation Local candidates only, to facilitate training and coordination

Primary facility in North Judson, IN, with occasional coverage at
Francesville, IN Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00
PM Dress Code:
Business casual attire required This contract opportunity starts June 29th and will continue until a permanent technician is hired.
