Monday 1pm-11:30pm, Tuesday-Friday 2pm-11pm, Saturday 12pm-8:30pm
Work Arrangement:
Onsite Position Summary:
The position does not require the associate to have prior pharmacy experience. We are looking for applicants with previous roles such as picking or quality that would be able to meet the requirements to successfully obtain a Indiana pharmacy tech in training license - including having a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background & Context:
This is an onsite role supporting medication dispensing and inventory in a fast-paced environment for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing. Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders. Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity; opening large quantities of bottles and cases of product. Ensure the proper labeling and instructions for patient use on medication containers. Maintain an organized and clean dispensing area. Conduct regular stock rotation to prevent expiration of medications. Adhere to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations. Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times. Assist in record-keeping and documentation of prescription and medication-related information.
Qualification & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent Previous pharmacy or picking experience Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line. Able to consistently carry 20 - 30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor. Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift. Basic math, reading and writing skills required.
