Job Description
In accordance with state and federal regulations, assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy. Assists the pharmacist in the performance of other Pharmacy Department duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Responsible for using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. Summary As a Pharmacy Technician , you will utilize your core skills in our LTC pharmacy to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care. Your experience as a technician will ensure the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, however, we are willing to train the right candidate. As a Pharmacy Technician in our setting, you will play a vital role in upholding the highest standards of pharmacy practice and contributing to positive patient outcomes. Qualifications Certified Pharmacy Technician and/or State of Kansas Pharmacy Registration LTC pharmacy experience optional Patient service and care skills Experienced in medical terminology Experience in or willing to learn automated medication dispensing system
