Job Description
We are hiring for an Entry-Level Pharmacy Technician. This role will be helping to package medication to go off to customers. We are open to truly entry-level candidates who might come from warehouse, shipping, retail, or similar backgrounds and looking to get their foot in the door in the field!
Shift:
1st shift, Monday - Friday Job Description This entry-level Pharmacy Technician role offers an excellent opportunity to start a career in an up-and-coming mail order pharmacy environment. You will support safe and accurate medication dispensing by operating automated equipment, preparing and packaging medications, and following established procedures and regulations. You will work closely with a collaborative team to provide efficient, high-quality service to patients and healthcare partners. Responsibilities Operate and maintain automated dispensing equipment to support accurate and efficient medication distribution. Prepare and package medications with precision and care, following established protocols and labeling requirements. Perform quality control checks on medications and orders to ensure accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance. Adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations governing pharmacy operations. Support shipping, receiving, and fulfillment activities related to mail order pharmacy operations. Assist with warehouse operations, including organizing, storing, and handling medications and supplies in a safe and orderly manner. Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and excellent service. Provide courteous and professional customer service in person, by phone, or through internal communication channels. Maintain confidentiality of patient and prescription information at all times. Manage time effectively to meet daily production goals and workflow timelines. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area within the warehouse and pharmacy environment.Qualifications:
Must have a High school diploma or GED. Must have reliable work history (good job tenure, etc.) Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Southgate, KY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
